For them HAINT boys....
There's a critter rally over here in Texas every year in Austin they call the R.O.T. It's considered a bike rally but i haven't figured out why just yet.......
Me & pops just sit back & scratch our heads....& drink
Nothing but classic cheesy power ballads from now on.....or until i sober up

Help needed.....
A buddy of mine called me up saying every time he puts his bike into first gear it instantly shuts the motor off..I'm like HUH? so i go look at it and the drive shaft, (dumbest shit ever in my opinion) is loose & not even connected! This is when i tell him if he would of just got an H-D like i told him this wouldn't be a problem...maybe something else but not this HAHAHAHA! so i get it back to the shop to figure it out & this is what happened,
It seems that the splined shaft inside the hub snapped on the end & every where I've looked is telling me you can replace just about every little piece inside this bastard BUT that...? It's the one between 8&9
So, The whole assembly, from what I've found from the local Yamaha shop & online, is over 700 bones! & neither one of us want to do that, it's ridiculous. So if anybody that knows anything about Jap bikes, knows where to find used or cheaper parts, or knows if that gear can be taken out & replaced, PLEASE E-mail me! It's an 02' V-Star 650...

Seat...
I started on this stock couch today...i hate wide seats. Wanted to keep the thickness of it though.
took the foam off the pan & put it back on bike to get an idea where i wanted to start trimming...i got close to frame rails as i could in front & mostly on the inside of the top of the fender in the rear.
You can see my sharpie marks where i needed to trim...close to 2 inches... should of used a silver sharpie!
After i got most of it trimmed with a cut off wheel on the grinder i shaped each side to match with a hand file, the pan is just plastic so it was super easy just tedious trying to get each side to match. Then laid the foam back on to see how much to whack off...got my turkey knife out & started shaving
...the knife works ok for the bulk part of it but i really wish i had a Bosch foam knife but they want you to sell your kidneys to pay for it! I'll finish shaping the edges with a die grinder.
I like how it turned out & I'll probably finish it through out the week, can't decide on how to cover it?
I could go stupid crazy on tooling & hand lacing the leather which takes me forever or maybe just something simple & timeless.....give me some ideas!! Got any artwork???
