Polishing is a fucking pain in the ass when you have extremely ruff shit to start with....I wasn't going to do it. I'm over trying to make this fucker something it never was but the right side leg had a pretty bad spot on it that was bothering me & i had a HELL of a time trying to get all the old sun fried clear coat off so the more I worked on the spot the prettier it got & then I couldn't stop. Sooo 4 hours later I have polished like a mirror lowers again! At least they match the trees, head light brow, & bars I guess. Probably gonna blind my ass to where I can't see shit. Not really my bag

What a weekend....

72 hour alcohol infused blurrrr....Another year older & paying for it. Shit just don't feel like it used to! Somewhere along in there i had a moment of clarity. I've got to slow the fuck down. Stop & smell the roses!It's going to be a fun summer, I'm not stressing over the little shit or things you can't control. Hit the road running hard is kind of a problem of mine....Haul ass as fast as you can in the shortest amount of time possible & tear ass back to make it back to work on time hahaha. New main shaft support doesn't fit on this Revtech tranny....The holes didn't line up
with the studs so I opened them up a bit, still a little tight but got it on and the bearing bottoms out on the sprocket nut. Smashed the seal. As you can see the support plate still had a ways to go before being flush with the tranny case...Love this kind of shit, Happy Fuckin Friday!!!

on for size tomorrow....The right one had to be offset 1/4" more then the left. Don't ask me, ask Harley or whoever built this after market swing arm.....They ain't pretty by no means but if they work I'll try to fix'em up some. I'm tired of working, it's time to play

Good thing I went ahead & bought a new one....bitch was ready to take a dive anyway! Had a nice crack, didn't take too much pressure to snap it. All ready been fixed once & it all way's ate at the back of my brain. Pretty much the only piece i haven't replaced through this process, now i can sleep a little better.

Stainless fender spacers. They'll look neat once their polised & welded in the right spot, then i can tape'em up & paint the fender black with some coats of clear

Skeptical Struts

Got the ends coped, And ends welded on...that's about it....still got to mill 5/8 (on top) & 1/2" (on bottom) holes. Not turning out like i have in my head.. My buddy talked me into letting him use this really cool ass hydraulic bender/brake to (cold) bend the 1/2" offset on top & bottom but should have just chucked them up in a vise and used heat. The machine left a nasty scar where it presses....Not sure about the offset. Doesn't look like enough? Knowing my drunk ass i probably measured wrong. We'll see how they work & look on bike, should finish Monday. Maybe have to go back to drawing board & start over.....
