when you build your own, take off into the unknown, shit happens.....and you improvise. Steve had to run around New Braunsfels Sunday & look for some gasket material for his manifold before they took off to see Big Bend.
Had the pleasure of getting to know these guy's a little more on the River run, Met Charlie (Denver Jesus) this summer in Kansas on the Twine Ball Run, He brought Part Timer Steve with him down from Colorado, it was a blast! Normal dudes on their Motorpickles just hittin it hard glad they made it back with out any major problems...Definitely gonna try to make it to Boulder next summer & hook back up with'em

I heard they were goin on the run Saturday morning & might be hittin Luckenbach round 1 o'clockish i left late & got there bout 2:30 waited & thought for a minute & decided to go on towards New Braunfels knowing i had missed the bunch...on a little back road to Blanco i see this group coming. As they fly pass i recognized the famous mustache
up front & the little guy in the back with the mouth piece camera & hit the brakes...thanks Rob for slowin down & lettin me catch up & the stickers! your all right...

I decided to head to the River Run at the last minute Saturday bout noon, good times it was super laid back, and 82 degrees in the clear sunshine was perfect. Didn't get many pics, just mostly of the bikes Sunday morning I'll post up more later....

Should be a good time & ride! i usually try to make it to the river once or twice during the summer, not to far from the house so it'll be a good ride with nice weather, but i bet that damn water is cold!! it's chilly in July in 100 degree weather....

40 years ago today...

Finally...

its fucking FRIDAY! Long ass week...still not done with this house. Got 13 day's to be done packed & moved in! can it be done?? Hell no. Not working all day at normal job it ain't! HAHAHA I took off today to do a boob job on some walls & put lights up so i can see where to shit in a empty bath room. What happened to motorcycles???

I'm over the swing arm shit. I love'em but its also because that's what i had to deal with & no way i could get started on a rigid frame while keeping the original frame. Also the whole numbers matching & title shit always kept me from doing what i wanted but i really could careless now....although i may wake up tomorrow wishing different. Thinking about selling it as a roller like it is....After working on it all last winter & non at ALL through summer I'm bored with it & keep dreaming of my ultimate ride....I'm bored with this.......Motor will be here soon, that may change everything

been remodeling a house the last 2 weeks or so, it's whipping my ass...have till Wednesday to finish the outside so it'll be slow around here but I'm declaring September Shovelhead month! I'll be posting poched pics of my favorites all month cause I'll be getting my motor back finally!! (That's what he say's....)flywheels were holding me back & some get going on it moolah but it's all good now, Can't believe it cost $350 to ship the bastard....I would rather drive to AZ & pick it up but did the math & I'm not saving much so fuck it.It's been a great experience working with Mark & I'd like to kiss ass now & thank Wendy from Spartan frameworks for hooking me up with'em, of course we'll see how it holds up to my abusing way's!, i kid i kid...I'm sure it'll be fine if George Counes trust'em. Had more problems then i was expecting but that just part of it. There's not much left original except for the cases & rocker box's now after the top end fiasco a few years ago, So if it don't act right this time I'll blow that bitch to the moon!......Too many Rockstars this morning.
